During my visit to Corner Brooke had the pleasure to visiting Gitano s with friends.The tapas were good and so was dinner.Had a table visit from Donna and the service was excellent.WIll go back again on my next visit.---Melvin
Dropped in for lunch today and it didn't disappoint. Haven't been here since they first opened but still a beautiful atmosphere with wonderful staff and great food. The 3 of us enjoyed the koftas with roasted red pepper soup, fish tacos with mandarin salad and hubby had bog and barn burger with fingerling potatoes and ceasar salad. We all enjoyed our lunch and cleaned our plates! Thanks to our waiter Paul for great service and conversation. Just a note to mention my daughter is vegetarian, the chef was willing to modify most menu items to accommodate her diet restrictions! - fabulous service.
High-end restaurant. Food is absolutely delicious. Portions are small.
Aug 11 2018: The service was terrible. The kitchen was apparently swamped with a whole 3 tables in the whole restaurant. Portion control was extreme. A meal salad should be more than 2 spears of "wedge salad" and a fishstick sized portion of fish. Or roasted mini potatoes should be more than a dozen marble sized pieces.Most of the mussels in my order did not open.My barn and bog buger tasted weird. I wrote it off as a different flavor due to the pickled onions and mustard mixture.The next morning I became violently ill for the days following.Attempting to contact the owners and management of the resturant have been met with nothing but, "there's nothing I can do to help" and other excuses.
The food was fabulous!The atmosphere is top notch.We will be back!
